About the Role
At Essity we are going through our Digital transformation based on S4HANA and other SAP products. We have a Global template which has been piloted, and we are now rolling it out to countries across the world.
As an IT Senior Project Manager - SAP, you will be part of the central Project Delivery team and you play a pivotal role in the successful roll-out of our Global template across geographies. You will lead multi-functional teams, manage project scope, resources, budget, risks, and timelines, and ensures successful delivery of project objectives in strong alignment with strategic objectives and business requirements.

What You Will Do
Lead and manage SAP IT projects of moderate to high complexity, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, and change management.
Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, etc.) to drive successful outcomes.
Lead multi-functional IT project teams consisting of internal or external resources, typically from 3-10 different stakeholder groups or organizational areas, leveraging internal expertise to ensure collaboration and alignment.
Manage project communications to ensure timely updates, informed decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.
Track and report on key project metrics, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and stay within scope and budget.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, timelines, financials, and status reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Who You Are
Minimum 5 years of proven leadership managing moderate to large size complexity SAP S4 HANA implementation and roll-out projects.
Record of developing, tracking and reporting project plans, schedules for medium to large complexity projects.
Extensive experience in project management methodologies & tools and ability to adapt. Preferably experience in SAP Activate methodology.
Skilled at proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies at project level.
Knowledge of managing vendor/third-party contracts.
Skilled in managing project budget/costs and financial forecasting for medium to high complexity projects.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
