CDP

Essity is one of only four to qualify for CDP´s A list for both Water and Forests by CDP, the international not-for-profit that drives sustainable economies. 

WWF Environmental Paper Company Index

Essity was recognized by the WWF for leadership in transparency for disclosing its ecological footprint in the WWF Environmental Paper Company Index 2016.

FTSE4Good Index

The FTSE4Good is a market index which measures the performance of companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards. Essity has been listed on the FTSE4Good global sustainability index since 2001.

Global Compact

Essity is a UN Global Compact signatory as of 2008. Our Communication on Progress (CoP) reports for 2008 and 2009 were selected as representatives of Best Practice by Global Compact.

MSCI World ESG Index

Essity is included in MSCI World ESG Index, a broadly diversified global equity index comprised of companies with high Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ratings relative to their sector peers*.

Nordic Sustainability Stars

SIX STAR is a Nordic sustainability index launched in 2009 by SIX and Ethix SRI Advisors. Our company is ranked among the top 25 Swedish companies.

Nasdaq OMX

Essity is included in OMX GES Sustainability Nordic and OMX GES Sustainability Sweden, two indexes for responsible investments launched by Nasdaq OMX and GES Investment Services.
