This year, millions of people in America and Canada, including families close to where you live, continue to reel from the ongoing impacts of the pandemic.
The Salvation Army's iconic Bell Ringers and Red Kettles—longtime fixtures outside malls and stores across North America—are a staple holiday tradition. Its annual Red Kettle holiday campaign helps communities combat problems that have grown worse in the wake of COVID-19, including food insecurity and hunger with a variety of support, such as meal assistance.

We have partnered with the Salvation Army this season. Starting today—Giving Tuesday (November 30)—employees can donate to the Salvation Army through our Essity North America donation portals to help people within your local community get the food they need this holiday season, no matter where you work for Essity in the U.S. or Canada.

Essity North America pledges to match 100%* of all employee donations to the Salvation Army between now and December 31. We are working with the Salvation Army to ensure that each individual employee’s gift – and the Essity match – goes to their local Salvation Army site. This means contributions will help provide meal assistance to those who need it most in their own communities.
